About Scavland Guide
Scavland Guide is an independent, player-run reference for Scavland, the top-down survival RPG NoShadow released into Steam Early Access on 4 September 2026. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by NoShadow or UNSUBSCRIBE. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
Who writes this
Pages are written and maintained by Ilya Vetrov. There is no editorial team behind that name and no review copy of the game — which is exactly why this site quotes sources instead of experience.
How we verify
Every number on this site is traced to a source you can open yourself: achievement names and unlock rates come from the Steam achievement pages for app 3373500, faction and mechanic details from the developer pinned posts and timestamped guide videos, and player counts from the Steam player API.
Update cadence
Data pages are re-pulled after each Early Access patch and after every developer post on the Steam hub; the achievement unlock table carries the date it was captured because those percentages move daily.
What we don't do
We do not publish weapon tier rankings or damage tables while the game ships no public stat sheet, we do not score the game ourselves, and anything only one person has claimed is labelled unverified instead of being written as fact.
Where the data comes from
- Steam store data — price, languages, categories, minimum spec, content descriptors.
- Steam achievements and global unlock rates — the 44-row table on the achievements page, recaptured with each refresh because the percentages move daily.
- Developer posts — the pinned launch-day timeline and the 5 September commitments, quoted rather than paraphrased where the wording matters.
- The Steam discussion hub — player questions and developer replies, which is where the save behaviour and controller quirks are documented.
- Timestamped launch-week videos — used for mechanics that appear on screen, never for numbers that would need a stat sheet to confirm.
